On 13 May 2026, the TRIERES project participated in a webinar organised in collaboration with the Czech Hydrogen Technology Platform (HYTEP), focusing on the development of the hydrogen economy in Greece and the latest advancements taking place across both the public and private sectors.
The online event brought together key stakeholders from across the hydrogen value chain, providing an important platform for exchanging knowledge, sharing experiences, and discussing the opportunities and challenges related to the transition towards a sustainable hydrogen economy in Europe.
TRIĒRĒS Partners Represented in the Discussion
Representing the TRIERES consortium, several project partners actively contributed to the discussion by presenting both their role within the project and their broader hydrogen-related activities and initiatives.
The participating representatives included:

During the webinar, the speakers highlighted the importance of collaboration between municipalities, transport operators, industrial stakeholders, and energy companies in accelerating the green energy transition and supporting the deployment of hydrogen technologies.
Strengthening Regional Cooperation in the Hydrogen Sector
The TRIERES project also underlined its commitment to strengthening cooperation across Eastern and Southeastern Europe by promoting the exchange of expertise, know-how, and best practices in the hydrogen economy.
Such initiatives contribute to building stronger regional synergies and fostering innovation ecosystems that can support Europe’s climate neutrality goals and the wider adoption of clean hydrogen solutions.
A Valuable Exchange of Knowledge and Experience
The webinar offered participants the opportunity to engage in meaningful dialogue regarding hydrogen market developments, policy frameworks, infrastructure needs, and future investment opportunities in Greece and beyond.
