The TRIĒRĒS project travelled to Egypt to participate in EGYPES – Egypt Energy Show 2024 – Finance & Investment in Energy Conference, the largest energy conference and exhibition across Egypt, North Africa and the Mediterranean.
Konstantinos I. Chatzifotis, EU Affairs Manager of Motor Oil, participated in the Panel discussion “Scaling up Green Hydrogen Production, Infrastructure Development and Deployment”, providing insights about the regional impact and hydrogen’s role in energy transition, the need for collaborative efforts between public and private stakeholders to overcome barriers and pave the way for green hydrogen deployment in the region.
Hydrogen Egypt (H²Egypt), also partner of TRIĒRĒS project, actively participated in discussions for driving energy transition, security and decarbonization within the Eastern Mediterranean region.
Projects such as TRIĒRĒS, which have a regional dimension with Egypt, serve as benchmarks for how cross-border cooperation and strategic planning can result in successful green hydrogen ecosystems.
